A picture of where you got engaged, a family pet, your vacation home? They make great anniversary or retirement gifts. Your purchase includes up to an hour of design time with one of our graphic designers to get the design dialed in for you. You can opt to go with one of our existing designs or we can come up with something completely new and unique. We can also use different colors of finish depending on your preference. Barrel heads are approximately 22 inches in diameter, 1 inch thick and solid white oak. They are from real, used whiskey or bourbon barrels and will be charred on the back. We sand and seal both sides of the head so you need not worry about any loose char rubbing of. We also install a wall hanger on the back. Feel free to reach out prior to purchase to discuss the feasibility of your design. thefirstoutpoststore@gmail.com

Information about the engraving design process

We can alter an existing design per your specifications or create something from scratch for you. After the order is placed we will reach out if we have questions about your design request. If your request is straightforward we will work up a proof of your design and send it to you for review. We will do an additional 3 revisions to get it just the way you want it. if you have specific images you want incorporated, have a hand drawn sketch that you would like us to professional work up, or an AI generated image you can upload it below.

Information about uploading an AI generated image file:

If you wish to submit an AI generated image file for engraving it must follow these guidelines.

Image must be strictly black and white and on a white background. Do not submit it superimposed on a barrel.

Image should be at least 300 DPI at 20" by 20"

Avoid shadowing.

PNG file format is best but we can work with most filetypes.

Example of an acceptable image

Example of an unacceptable image
